Per Maryland Commercial Law Section § 16-203, if you wish to collect on the storage you’re currently charging, you must send a Notice of Intent to Lien (NOI) when you take possession of the vehicle. If the Notice of Intent to Lien (NOI) is not sent your storage will be reduced to $300 per year. Please call our offices with any questions or concerns you may have. STARTING AUGUST 5, 2024, ALL TITLE WORK FOR VEHICLES WILL REQUIRE A SIGNED AND NOTARIZED VR-100. THIS FORM WILL BE EMAILED TO YOU WHEN THE LIEN STARTS. IF WE DO NOT RECEIVE THE FORM, ANOTHER WILL BE SENT FOLLOWING THE SALE. YOUR TITLE WORK WILL NOT BE SENT TO MVA UNTIL THIS REQUIREMENT IS RECEIVED.
